Microsoft console brings big guns this year, with the last of the "Halo", "Grand Theft Auto" and other marquee franchise.
After a banner year in 2008, Xbox 360, it seems, now have a great 2009. How do you start of the year was all that the new "Gears of War" and "Grand Theft Auto" in the artsy "Braid" and karaoke game "Lips"?
I'm not sure, but here are five games that I am very excited about the new year.
5. "Street Fighter IV"
Some of us may not be good at that, "Street Fighter". But virtual beatdown from Soulja Boy Tell'em is not going to keep me from looking forward to learn some skills from the first new numbered "Street Fighter" game for decades. The old favorites again, and new characters are moving in. But the main thing here is that we have a 3-D graphics and 2-D gameplay. Even I, a guy who can not throw Ryu race, knows that it was good. This is a game in February.
4. "Resident Evil 5"
This is another game in the Xbox 360 and share the PlayStation 3, which is another major release. New 'Terminator Salvation' Preview: Heart-Pounding Battles, a large (and more) Explosions

Run-DMC, Metallica went to the rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame

Influential metal act Metallica and innovative hip-hop group Run-DMC headline 2009 class of rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame industries, which were announced Wednesday (January 14) at a press conference in New York.

Formed in Los Angeles in 1981, Metallica has grown from a modest start to become one of (if not the) biggest and most influential heavy metal bands on the planet. Their debut 1983, to kill 'Em All, is widely regarded as one of the first thrash metal albums, thanks to its blitzkrieg reefs and breakneck pace. Their subsequent albums - 1984 in Ride the lightning, Master of Puppets in 1986 and 1988 to ... And justice for all - I saw the band expanding not only their sound, but their audience. Artists are eligible for induction 25 years after their first record, as well as the industry selected Group 500 "rock experts" who will evaluate each candidate.

Paramount creates Daemon
Paramount and Parkes / MacDonald introduced the development of techno-thriller called Daemon, based on the novel publishing phenom Daniel Suarez.

Prison Break Canceled
Fox announced Tuesday morning that the "Prison Break" have to run it after four seasons this spring, says Variety. The drama returns to the schedule for Friday, April 17 at 8 pm on the last round.

Emily Blunt to star in Iron Man 2?

Andy Serkis on Tintin and Hobbit
