Microsoft console brings big guns this year, with the last of the "Halo", "Grand Theft Auto" and other marquee franchise.
After a banner year in 2008, Xbox 360, it seems, now have a great 2009. How do you start of the year was all that the new "Gears of War" and "Grand Theft Auto" in the artsy "Braid" and karaoke game "Lips"?
I'm not sure, but here are five games that I am very excited about the new year.
5. "Street Fighter IV"
Some of us may not be good at that, "Street Fighter". But virtual beatdown from Soulja Boy Tell'em is not going to keep me from looking forward to learn some skills from the first new numbered "Street Fighter" game for decades. The old favorites again, and new characters are moving in. But the main thing here is that we have a 3-D graphics and 2-D gameplay. Even I, a guy who can not throw Ryu race, knows that it was good. This is a game in February.
4. "Resident Evil 5"
This is another game in the Xbox 360 and share the PlayStation 3, which is another major release. The latest in the world famous Capcom survival horror series published just two months, on Friday the 13th, of course. Adventure is set in Africa, this time, allowing the first two players consistently co-operative throughout the game in the campaign, as well as sport modernized management system, which allows more provornogo movement. Finally, "Resident Evil" characters will not be monitored, as tanks.
3. "Final Fantasy XIII"
Look, this game is to slide in May 2010, and if that happens, a long-time fan of Square-Enix in the epic role-playing series will not be shocked. But they would be upset, because it has been three years since the world has received a new "Final Fantasy". Each trailer has released a promised a great adventure with the standard combination of high-tech and high fantasy and overdressed and underdressed group of friends stylish fighting demons. This "FF" is the first to be released on the same day at Microsoft and Sony platforms - a big development for the Xbox 360 fans long envied their PlayStation-owning friends.
2. "Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and the Damned"
The first episodic expansion for the "Grand Theft Auto IV" comes out next month for Xbox 360 (read: not for the PS3). Rockstar Games puts players in the management of a new hero, biker Johnny Klebitz. Can we also get excited about in terms of biker gangs in the city of Liberty, as the people of Niko Bellic? I'm just excited enough about the fact that Rockstar may be seen to do all the lessons learned from the introduction of "GTA IV" game.
1. "Halo 3: ODST"
Previously, "Halo 3: Recon," this little wild card, but the new "Halo" series of developer Bungie. This makes for the wild card that goes in the # 1 slot. Players will not control Master Chief. They play as Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. Bungie said this game will include more than stealth gameplay the series has had in the past. And this game will not be a full game. Serving more as an extension, but with an independent campaign, it still may be the first Bungie game any of us to play, since the original "Halo 3" was released in 2007.
Those are my top five most anticipated Xbox 360 games, and it is not even considering the possible implications for the "Splinter Cell" and "Assassin's Creed" and announced "BioShock 2." Maybe the mysterious "Alan Wake" is, finally, the surface?

New 'Terminator Salvation' Preview: Heart-Pounding Battles, a large (and more) Explosions
The Director said He is inspiration for the character of John Connor.
On Monday evening in New York, "Terminator Salvation" director McG showed leave most depth look at her was still unfinished summer blockbusters. Franchise reboot following resistance fighter John Connor (Christian Bale) in the post-judgment day wasteland in 2018, when he was trying to stop Skynet from improving their human lookalike T-800 cyborg (Arnold Schwarzenegger character from the original movie) - the point at which humanity will be absolutely drunk.
The clips, which McG and Warner Brothers Awesome previously covered the basics of the film - the heart pounding battles, anxiety induced pause, big explosions and more explosions - as well as sand, desolate landscape resembles the late 70's and early 80's Sci-Fi classics as the "mad max. No doubt, as the director said: "This is a war movie."
In the first clip, we look at the possibility of extended Harvester Terminator, massive metal monster with a gun to his head and two legs, that the release of mechanized motorcycles. Harvester is not there just to wreak havoc, though much of it. Its mission is to kidnap people for use in the Skynet in research and development of the T-800 (which in turn of the plot, is set to come online a decade earlier than Sarah Connor said to his son in the previous films; why future modification is one of the the central issues driving John in "Salvation").
But that chaos-cause: the control and verification. The new Terminator Marcus Wright (relative newcomer Sam Worthington), as well as the young Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) - Reese is the father of John Connor, when he travels to the past - to get to Harvester attack and respond with equal parts hero-warrior, and the ingenuity of reckless for their own safety. Despite the fact that the CGI effects are still incomplete, the five-minute video clearly McG has a strong hand when it comes to consistency.
After the clip does not alter that assessment, as well as not to disappoint them, offering new glimpses of Terminator bots (sea eel! Static aircraft!); Skynet in immaculate research and development laboratories; badass resistance leader Mikhail ironside; complexity of the relationship between the suspect and Connor enigmatic Wright, who strike uneasy alliance in their fight against Skynet; explosive car chases, helicopter crashes and lots and lots of rolls in the stoic, you-do-not-want-to-cross-my eyes.
(Head here "Terminator" fan's take on new staff.)
McG has a lot to prove to skeptics wonder why the director of "Charlie's Angels" was responsible for such classic Fantasy franchise. At the screening, he responded to their highest critic, "Transformers" director Michael Bay, who badly veiled shot at his blog at McG robot in the works. "That worries me," MCG said Hardy scathing retort, before going on to suggest that the criticism is ironic, because the giant robots have been around for ages.
McG is also filled with details about the film development. When he broke the "Salvation" for the rolls to "Dark Knight" set, the actor said he would sign if they can get the script to the point where it could go on stage in the theater. McG turned into a "Dark Knight" scribe Jonathan Nolan to execute the call. The emphasis was on "History, history," said McG. Construction Connor, burdened with the knowledge of the nature of the future, which should live up to the prophecy to save humanity, the director told MTV News he and Nolan have influenced the stories Luke Skywalker and Neo from "The Matrix" and the unexpected figure.
"Jesus," he told us. "That's the guy who said:" Listen, I know what's happening. "Some people listen, some people do not believe a word he said."
Nevertheless, as he showed, McG hinted it was much he could not dish ( "Closure may piss some people to leave," he said). At one point he asked the producer and said: "I can not talk about the governor of California. "Was it a joke or a serious hint that the original Terminator make cameo?
McG also have two "Terminator" movies in mind. He hastened to add that even presumptuous to discuss the impact to the audience even responded to the "salvation", the next film will be dedicated to the idea raised but not discussed in depth in "Salvation": time travel.

Influential metal act Metallica and innovative hip-hop group Run-DMC headline 2009 class of rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame industries, which were announced Wednesday (January 14) at a press conference in New York.
Guitar great Jeff Beck, singer / songwriter Bobby Womack, Du WOP heavyweights Little Anthony and the Imperials and the pioneering country singer Wanda Jackson was also used to set this year at a ceremony to be held April 4 at historic Public Hall in Cleveland.
Since founded in 1983, Rock Hall has been criticized for being slow to recognize some of the bands and genres, but the induction of Metallica and Run-DMC (plus that acts as Black Sabbath and Grandmaster Flash and the Furious in the last five years) seems to be indicate that changing.
Formed in Los Angeles in 1981, Metallica has grown from a modest start to become one of (if not the) biggest and most influential heavy metal bands on the planet. Their debut 1983, to kill 'Em All, is widely regarded as one of the first thrash metal albums, thanks to its blitzkrieg reefs and breakneck pace. Their subsequent albums - 1984 in Ride the lightning, Master of Puppets in 1986 and 1988 to ... And justice for all - I saw the band expanding not only their sound, but their audience. Their self-titled 1991 album (also known as "Black Album" for their landmark onyx coating) makes them one of the biggest teams in the world, in the long run at # 1 in the Billboard album chart and selling staggering 22 million copies worldwide. Last year they released a return to form Death Magnetic, which also debuted at the top of Billboard charts and was one of 2008's largest-selling albums.
Ironically, Run-DMC video for "King of Rock" shows, destroying their destruction in the rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame. The group was formed in the famous Hollis, Queens, in the early 80's, and released their debut single "It seems that" in 1983. Their first three albums (1984 self-titled debut, 1985 King of rock and 1986 in improving the Hell), believed to be one of the most important hip-hop album ever released. With their stylish dress, large sample tracks and streetwise lingo, the group is often attributed to what hip-hop to mainstream. They types of authority, when they teamed up with Aerosmith for the hit "Walk This Way", were the first rap group, placed on the cover of Rolling Stone, and was one of the first hip-hop acts have a video in constant rotation on MTV.
In 2002, Jam Master Jay - the foundation of the group, and the man responsible for their dramatic soundscapes - was killed in his Queens studio, effectively bringing Run-DMC to the end. In 2007, the MTV hip-hop in the Brain Trust called them the greatest hip-hop group of all time.
Applicants who were not selected for induction in 2009 included the proto-punk puppets, and a pair of influential funk acts of war and Chic. Artists are eligible for induction 25 years after their first record, as well as the industry selected Group 500 "rock experts" who will evaluate each candidate.
